1. Assuming you have the image you want to reflect already, I am using some simple text, you need to duplicate the layer it is in.
2. After duplicating it, hit Ctrl + t on the duplicated layer, and drag it so that it's upside down.
Hit
when your happy, I tend to drag it a bit lower so that it's not touching the non-duplicated layer.
3. After transforming to your liking, choose the colour that you know will b the background. I white but yours could be anything. Then select the rectangular marquee tool (
) and select the bottom half of your image.Now select the gradient tool (
) and make sure you have your colour to transparent selected :
and, on a new layer (shift+ctrl+n), drag it a little like this:
4. Ctrl + d (deselect) it and you should have a nice final result, after saving, mine looked like this:
