Reflecting Images In Photoshop


1. Assuming you have the image you want to reflect already, I am using some simple text, you need to duplicate the layer it is in.



2. After duplicating it, hit Ctrl + t on the duplicated layer, and drag it so that it's upside down.

Hit when your happy, I tend to drag it a bit lower so that it's not touching the non-duplicated layer.


3. After transforming to your liking, choose the colour that you know will b the background. I white but yours could be anything. Then select the rectangular marquee tool () and select the bottom half of your image.
Now select the gradient tool () and make sure you have your colour to transparent selected :
and, on a new layer (shift+ctrl+n), drag it a little like this:

4. Ctrl + d (deselect) it and you should have a nice final result, after saving, mine looked like this:
