Creating Flashing / Glowing Text
In this tutorial I will tell you how to apply a simple but nice effect.
It works on text and silhouettes best.

1. Create your text and duplicate the layer ( drag the layer to
in the bottom right).
2. On the duplicated layer right click the little f (
) and select 'outer glow'. Change the size to a
number of your choice, but remember that this is going to be your first frame with a glow on it so
don't make it to bright.
3. Repeat steps 1 and 2 until you are left with something like this:
[[NOTE]]
If you are worried about readability, don't worry, this will be taken care of later.
4. Now we are ready to animate it so click the 'edit in imageready' button.

5. Once its loaded in imageready make sure that you can see the animation box by going to Window -> Animation, if it disappears do it again to get it back.
6. On your first frame the only layers showing should be the background and your original text.
To make these the only ones select click the little eye
next to each layer you don't want to be shown.
It should look a little like this:

7. Click
in the animation box and
on the next layer up in the layers box.
Optionally, you can click off the layer that was shown in the previous frame for a weak glow effect, like the one shown at the top.
8. Repeat step 7 until the top layer is shown in the last frame.
File -> Save Optimized As..
and you're done!
If you chose to pile up the layers as you made your frames, this is the intense look you should see:

Aligning Modules On Your Bebo Skin
If you want an image to appear when the 'module_bg' and 'module_header' are viewed together like this:
these are the steps you must take:
1. The first thing I do is to create an image with these dimensions:
This is both modules' height combined, AND the line between them which is 14px.2. Now create a new layer on top of your blank canvas (shift+ctrl+n).
3. Select all (Ctrl+A)
4. Select the rectangular marquee tool (
) and make sure it is set to deselect (
) and fixed size (
).5. Now you need to make sure the only thing selected is the line we are going to delete, to do this set the dimensions in the bit next to 'fixed size' to 375 x 50.
Now click above the canvas like this:

6. This should've deselected everything in the top 50 pixels.
Now repeat step 5 except click below the canvas with 44px set as the height.
7. You should now be left with a 14px thick line selected a bit below the middle.
Fill this line with a colour of your choice and do the rest of your work in different layers.
Once you have completed your two modules you can select that size box again (ctrl+click that layer) and delete it from all layers.

8. Copy the bits you need into a new canvas, save them for web and you're done.
